What a weekend 1/2

Geez. Were you around in NY this weekend? If you were, you'd known how pissed Mother Nature was. Rain, snow, sleet, slush, wind, more wind, and freezing rain. What was that? Snow in October? Unheard of. Saturday was like December snowstorm came early.

As always Manhattan escaped the worst of it, with 3" of snow tops. What fell as fat globes of snow landed as wet slush on the ground as heavy rain poured from the sky. Altho the wind was really another story altogether. Still, we foolishly braved the snowstorm and schlepped downtown to Century 21! Not the smartest move I know, but at least we get points for bravery whilst the rest of the city stayed indoors.

Here are some pics compliment of the Times.
