Shame on me

Yea shame on me. I hadn't realised the reason we have a public holiday on Monday 20 April is cos of the WORLD FAMOUS annual Boston Marathon! Did you? See! Neither did I! The BF chastised me for my ignorance and ranked the Boston Marathon up there alongside Boston Clam Chowder and Boston Legal. BOO. Who eats clam chowder when we have lobster bisque? And who watches Boston Legal when there's The Practice or Ally McBeal?! Haha. Okok. This year marks the 113th annual marathon, and by the looks of it, it's pretty out there. So as a result of our or MY failed ignorance, we won't be around to witness the world's oldest annual marathon happening in our backyard. Oh well *shrugs shoulders* We've better things to do. Ha. 3 days of beach, sun and the waves in Long Island. Yeay!
