Afternoon Tea

With scones. Yummy ainnit? I love scones. Especially if it comes with a dollop of clotted cream and a jar of those exquisite English jams. Plus a pot of hot brewing Chamomile tea. So, in my attempt to "reverse" the misadventure of burnt scones not so long ago, I pounded the kitchen again. This time, I followed the recipe to the T - even down to the exact number of times the dough should be kneaded. I don't think my heart can take another bakescapade-failure. I even stole packets of coarse sugar from the cafe down the street to dip the top of the scones for that glistening sugared look. So, ok its not the best we've eaten, but it definitely looks and tastes like scones this time!
