An epiphany

There is something about living within the confines of a 4-walled studio that is quite variedly different. One thing's for sure, I can now spy what's baking in the oven, the kitchen towel flapping in the wind or even that wretched fly buzzing around the sink - all this, with a slight tilt of my head whilst reading SELF in bed. Between the 2 of us, there are just about enough t-shirts to wear for 3/4 of the year without laundry, a different pair of shoes for everyday of the month and bags that line the apartment from front to back, twice, we quickly learnt space has become an issue. And I haven't mentioned Andrew's burgeoning art collection. Eeeeiks. Actually, make that EEEEIIIKKKKSS. Another thing I hadn't realised was there are only two spots in the flat to perch myself on - the Eames (well, then again there are 4 to choose from, depending on the preferred 'view' a.k.a wall) at the dining table or the Overman (because our couch (!!!!) is still in the old apartment. oh please get it over asap!) Hmmm. Guess who's going to be hanging at Starbucks now..
