Teach me thy ways, o M!

Having spent the last six years of my life as a suit, there are things we do not speak of. Because, quite simply, it is unfathomable. But only seven weeks here has my mind been opened to new ways of the ad world, and literally how, impossible is possible: 1. It is possible to get a rouge photographer to capture stills at a social event for use on PRINT. Me: The pics will be good only for Facebook, but definitely not ideal for press ads. She: *shrugs shoulders* Nah, I think its ok. We've done it before. 2. It is possible to capture frames off a TVC for use on PRINT. Me: The resolution for TV is 75dpi. Print requires a minimum of 300dpi. She: *shrugs shoulders* Nah, I think its ok. We've done it before. REALLY? And why is it that wrong work keeps coming back, over and over and over and over and over again. After not one, not two, but FIVE rounds of review. They just cannot get it right - between the Art Director, the Copywriter, the Proof Reader and the Traffic Manager. I could keep reviewing the work till kingdom come, and still, it is never right. $%(*&^!
