downtownfrombehind is a fresh and interesting take on street style in NY. The blog captures an eclectic cast from artists, musicians, actors, singers, creative people and the likes riding their bikes around some 200+ streets in lower Manhattan. The catch? These shots are taken from behind. By not revealing the faces of its subjects, the blog inevitably forces readers to assess the surrounding environment in the pictures.
A welcoming departure from the all too narcissistic style-snap-and-post approach we've seen on one too many fashion blogs.
