The weather was so perfect yesterday at 16 deg C, we were led to believe Spring's really here! Clear clear blue skies and not a cloud in sight! Beautiful views of the water.. Newbury was teeming with throngs of people (which made me wonder where they disappeared in winter!) in sun dresses, shorts + flip flops, snaking queues at J.P Licks - an ice cream joint, alfresco dining at its best and picnickers & grass bathers at the Common. NICE. It was beautiful to be out. We had actually had a spring (pun intended! ha) in our steps. Until. This morning. Cloudiness. Grey. Thunder. Then pissing down. Boo! So I had to ask an insider. In her words "There is nothing nice about Spring. Its all grey and wet. With little sunshine in between." CRAP. I actually counted the number days it rained since 'official' Spring arrived. Hmm let's say its 12/14 days!? That is a new season by the way. Spring + Storms = Sporms. PS: There is a silver lining to the cloudiness today :) Met with Arnold informationally and I'm happy to say it went well. There are no openings at the moment but it's good to be meeting with recruiters and getting my CV out there at least.
