Back in the Bean Town

So we bolted to the Big Apple and I haven't had time to check in. But all's well now, cos we are back! What a week it's been! This is the BF's 1st visit since new year's and to say he's thoroughly enjoyed himself is a total understatement. This visit to NY was primarily for 2 reasons - ADC (Art Director's Club) and One Show. And whilst we knew he was going to pick up a medal, he definitely was not expecting a.. GOLD! Yeay. Oh make that 2 Golds. Kudos to the boys back in Singapore as well. It was a job very well done and deserving of nothing less than the best. So what better time to ask for a raise and make the big move? *rubs hands with evil glint in the eye* So Spring is all about the rain yes. We enjoyed 2 days of spectacular weather in NY and then the rain-monster came. And never left till we got back to Boston. ZZZZZZ. I don't know how to describe the kinda of rain we get here. Its just incessant, non-stop gobs that alternates between multiple light droplets (like the spray machines at cafes when the weather gets too hot?? yea like that, but bigger and more frequent) and mad pissing down that would totally leave you drench in seconds. Geez. And it was like that all day, for days :( Oh and we finally checked out Fuerzabruta! Its a little like Stomp and MORE. Its a mind blowing, jaw-dropping, multi-sensory experience that is really simply out of this world. All in all, it was a great trip. We met up with lots of people, ate so much, walked even more. Visiting NY is always fun in an unexpected, spontaneous sort of way cos there is much to discover, do and see and there is always something for everyone, no matter what your agenda, interest and personality is.
