Speaking of art, look at the latest additions to our collection, also disguised as my 30th birthday pressent.
I must confess I have little opinion about art, apart from 'nice', or 'not nice', and these 2 pieces definitely fall under the former category. I especially love the framing.
The artist is Marion Peck. If you find her work familiar, it is most probably because her work (I feel) is kind of similar to Mark Ryden (who happens to be her partner), whose style is so distinctively unique to him, it's almost instantly recognisable.
Now, I can't wait to hang up the pieces on our new wall.
