Last Monday was a holiday, thanks to Memorial Day and a new Summer Friday policy just took effect -- the agency closes at 130pm every Friday for the entire summer. Well, in theory, that sounds brilliant, doesn't it? But we are too familiar with how that really works in reality.
Though a relatively short week by all standards, it was brutal. I clocked 12-hour days all three days, and then left the office at 4pm on Friday.
I don't think this week is going to get any better... Monday blues already...
PS: On a much brighter note, today's our 3rd year/ Leather City Hall anniversary. We celebrated with home-cooked spaghetti and meatballs (wished I'd taken a pic!) and a brand new bag from Alexander Wang, compliments of hubs :)
